Program Overview
Hallandale Magnet High School's STEM Pathways provide students with hands-on, career-focused experiences in Automotive Technology, Aviation & Aviation Mechanics, Emergency Medical Technician, and Health Science/Sports Medicine. Students engage in lab-based learning, industry simulations, and dual-enrollment opportunities that prepare them for high-demand careers. With access to certifications, real-world equipment, and professional partnerships, students gain technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and clinical or industry experience. Graduates leave prepared for college, trade programs, and immediate entry into the STEM workforce.

Program Offers
STEM Pathways at Hallandale Magnet High School are offered to students in grades 9–12. Open to all students with an interest in STEM, Automotive, Aviation, Emergency Medical Technician, or Health Science/Sports Medicine. No prior experience is required; students should simply demonstrate interest and commitment to their chosen pathway.
Course Requirements by Pathway:
- Automotive Technology: Available to 11th-grade students. Coursework includes automotive systems, diagnostics, and hands-on shop training.
- Aviation & Aviation Mechanics: Open to 10th-grade students. Students learn the fundamentals of flight, aircraft systems, and aviation maintenance.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Offered to 12th-grade students. Students must complete Health Science prerequisites and participate in clinical and skills labs.
- Health Science / Sports Medicine: Open to grades 9–12. Coursework includes medical terminology, anatomy, patient care skills, and athletic training fundamentals.
